THE SURPRISING PART
James gives two different moods the same direction: turn toward God.
Pain is not ignored. Joy is not treated as self-sufficient.
Both become an opportunity for honest worship.
WHEN LIFE CHANGES BY THE HOUR
One hour brings bad news.
The next brings relief.
James does not ask you to pretend every hour feels the same.
He gives you a response for the hard moment — and a response for the good one.
Bring both to God.

Name your real mood today.
If you are hurting, pray one honest sentence.
If you are grateful, turn that gratitude into praise.
