Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.

CONTEXT MATTERS
James connects endurance
with the trials he mentioned earlier.
Hard seasons can test your faith.
But James also makes a careful distinction:
God does not lure us into evil.
The pressure is real.
The choice that follows still matters.
REAL LIFE
Stress can turn a hard day
into resentment, shortcuts,
or words you cannot take back.
The trial may not be your choice.
But you can ask:
What is this pressure trying
to pull out of me?
ONE SMALL STEP
Name the pressure you are facing.
Then choose one faithful response
before you answer, spend, quit,
or strike back.
