Romans 5:1
Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

THE DETAIL PEOPLE MISS
Romans 5 begins with “therefore.”
Paul is drawing a conclusion from the argument before it: we are made right with God through faith, not by building a perfect record.
Peace with God is not a prize for finally getting everything right.
WHEN GUILT GETS LOUD
We often treat peace like a mood we have to create.
A quiet room helps. So does a clear conscience.
But Romans 5 points deeper.
Peace with God is a restored relationship, grounded in Jesus—not in how calm, productive, or impressive you feel today.
ONE SMALL STEP
When guilt starts replaying your failures, stop and name what this verse says is already true.
Your standing with God rests on faith in Jesus, not on a flawless performance.
