Psalms 24:1

LOOK CLOSER
The Psalm does not begin
with what we own.
It begins with who owns it all:
the earth, its fullness,
the world, and everyone in it.
Before life is a possession,
it is a gift held in trust.
WHAT ABOUT US?
That changes how we hold
our time, money, work,
home, and plans.
We can care for what is ours
without pretending it is ultimate.
You are not carrying
the whole world.
And neither am I.
ONE SMALL STEP
Name one thing you are
trying hard to control.
Thank God for it.
Then ask how you can
care for it faithfully
without treating it
like it belongs only to you.
