LOOK CLOSER
Love is not entertained by what is wrong.
It does not need someone else to fail.
It does not quietly enjoy a cruel joke, a private scandal, or a public takedown.
Love finds its joy on the side of what is true.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
It is easy to confuse being right with loving people.
We can share a failure, repeat a rumor, or enjoy an argument because it makes us feel above someone else.
This verse asks a sharper question: What am I glad to see happen to another person?
ONE SMALL STEP
Before you pass on a story about someone today, pause.
Ask whether it is true, fair, and helpful.
If it is not, let love end the conversation.
REFLECT
What do you find hardest to celebrate: truth, humility, or someone else’s good?
