Joshua 1:9
Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”

LOOK CLOSER
Joshua was not being handed
a motivational slogan.
Moses had died.
Joshua had to lead the people
into a difficult new season.
God repeats “be strong
and courageous” in this chapter.
The command is real
because the fear was real.
HERE’S WHERE IT HITS HOME
A new responsibility.
A hard conversation.
A future you cannot control.
Courage does not mean
pretending everything feels easy.
It means taking the next faithful step
without letting fear make
every decision for you.
The reason is not
“I can handle anything.”
It is: God is with me.
ONE SMALL STEP
Name the thing
that is making you afraid.
Then write one faithful step
you can take today.
Not the whole plan.
Just the next step.
Ask God for courage
for that step, not a guarantee
that the road will be easy.
