2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The daily Reel: the verse and the three cards, in order.

CONTEXT MATTERS

Peter is answering people who say God's promise is late.

They see the delay

and call it failure.

Peter sees something else:

patience.

The waiting is not empty time.

It gives people room to turn back to God.

HERE'S WHERE IT HITS HOME

We often call delay wasted time.

An unanswered prayer.

A slow change.

A second chance.

This verse does not promise

every delay will feel good.

It says God's patience has a purpose:

more time to repent, return,

and live differently.

BEFORE YOU SCROLL

Read the verse again slowly.

Name one thing you need

to turn away from,

not just feel sorry about.

Take one honest step today.

REFLECT

What might God's patience be giving you time to change?
