Psalms 37:4

Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

The daily Reel: the verse and the three cards, in order.

LOOK CLOSER

Psalm 37 is not a wish list.

It begins with people feeling angry and anxious about wrongdoers who seem to prosper.

The answer is not: want harder.

It is: delight in Yahweh, trust him, and let him reshape what you want.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

We often read the second half:

“God will give me what I want.”

But the verse starts with a different center.

When God becomes your deepest joy, success, control, and approval stop being the things that rule your heart.

ONE SMALL STEP

Name one desire you keep carrying today.

Bring it to God honestly. Then ask:

“Would I still want this if knowing God mattered more than getting my way?”

REFLECT

What desire is hardest for you to place in God's hands?
