Matthew 13:44
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

THE SURPRISING PART
He sells everything.
But Jesus does not describe him as sad.
He does it in joy.
The kingdom is worth more than what he gives up.
REAL LIFE
We often ask, “What will faith cost me?”
This verse asks a different question:
What is God's kingdom worth to me?
When something matters deeply, sacrifice is not only loss. It can be joy.
ONE SMALL STEP
Read Matthew 13:44 again.
Notice the man's joy before you notice his sacrifice.
That changes the whole picture.
