NOTICE THE ORDER

John does not start with our love.

He starts with God's love.

We do not love to make God love us.

We love because he loved us first.

The gift comes before the response.

REAL LIFE

When we feel unseen,

our love can become a demand.

We give, hoping to get love back.

But this verse points to a different start.

Receive God's love first.

Then let it shape how you treat people.

Before one difficult conversation, pause.

Remember: you are not trying to earn love.

You are answering love already given.
